01 / THE POWERBOX

A POWER SYSTEM.
PACKED FOR WORK.

Battery storage, power distribution and the essentials for deployment, brought together in a steel jobsite cabinet.

01

Energy on board.

Tesla Powerwall batteries form the heart of the system. Stored energy travels with the equipment.

02

Ready for the next location.

A forkable steel cabinet gives the system a practical home. Cables and accessories stow inside for transport.

03

Connections on the outside.

The prototype brings its receptacles and disconnect to the exterior, keeping the working interface within reach.

04

A place for solar.

The field unit carries roof-mounted panels. A larger array is part of the next Texas demonstration project.

A NEW VIEW
OF SITE POWER.

Remote monitoring needs power wherever the mast goes. This deployment pairs the PowerBox with a construction-site camera tower.

03 / OUR STORY

GOOD IDEAS
GET TO WORK.

Modular Energy Products grew out of a practical question: how do you bring useful power to the work?

The answer started with a steel jobsite cabinet, battery storage and the experience of people who build things. The original PowerBox has worked on sites in Texas and North Dakota.

That experience is shaping the next version: a new demonstrator, a more considered layout and a solar installation to show how the system can come together.

A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

LET’S GET
SPECIFIC.

Can I rent a PowerBox?

MEP is developing PowerBox around a rental model. Get in touch to discuss your application, timing and availability.

How long will it run my equipment?

Runtime depends on the load, starting demand, battery configuration and available recharge sources. Share your equipment list and expected working hours so we can review the application.

Does it need solar panels?

Solar is one way to replenish stored energy. The original prototype also uses a utility connection for recharging. The recharge arrangement is planned for each deployment.

Is the unit in the photos the new PowerBox?

The photographs and film show our original working prototype. A redesigned Powerwall 3 demonstrator is in development for the Texas site; its final configuration is still being engineered.
